It’s funny how you say you care, and for some reason I believe you again. Just for you to prove in another way that it was all just a lie. In everything that happens I realize that it was just you wanting someone. Never actually me. I hope you find that someone now that will make you want to change your habits for them by yourself instead of making them feel like they have to force you into it. Maybe someday someone will mean enough to you for that. But that’s not obviously now, and obviously not me. I guess there had to come a point in time where I had to open my eyes and see it for myself.

Long distance is hard. You have to trust that as you each change on your own, your relationship will also change along with you. It takes hope, good humor, and idealism. It takes a massive dose of courage to protect the relationship at all odds. It is hard, but worth it. You’ll both be stronger as a result.
